How can we have a sustainable vacation today? And above all: how will we live and travel tomorrow to preserve habitats and protect our climate? We always had these questions in mind when we designed the elsPARC facilities.

The entire elsPARC team is firmly rooted in the region in which the facilities are located.
Our motivation was clear from the start: with our design holiday parks, we wanted to create sustainable holiday properties and support the places that have been dear to our hearts since our childhood. We want to invest in them sustainably now and in the future and, above all, inspire young people to visit the region and the Harz as a holiday destination.

From the building materials to the building insulation, from the energy and water supply to the playful experience of weather and climate to the "self-sufficiency experiment" in our gardens: everything in the elsPARC facilities is geared towards sustainability.

Every detail, such as the self check-in systems, the paperless booking or the delivery of groceries, is designed to make your stay as luxurious as possible while reducing your carbon footprint to a minimum.
All of this in a modern design ambience. The state of Lower Saxony, which is supporting our project, also believes that our concept is in tune with the times. A success that we are very proud of.
CO2? NO, THANKS!
Our designer cabins are made of 100% wood frame construction and stand on stable screw foundations.
They "float" above the ground so that small animals and plants can find a habitat underneath them. There is no soil sealing and rainwater can seep away freely.
The holiday homes are delivered in one piece, including the furnishings - this saves a lot of CO2 emissions. The insulation for floors, roofs and facades complies with the KfW40+ standard.
The energy supply is also state-of-the-art. Electric underfloor heating ensures a good climate inside the cabins. The electricity for this is provided by our PV modules on the roof, which run a large part of the power supply in the elsPARCs independently. In addition, we purchase green electricity.
AN INDUSTRIAL SITE
IN THE PAST,
NOW A GREEN BIOTOPE
Nobody today would suspect that elsPARC Walkenried is located on a former industrial site.
In this green biotope, where nature has once again taken over, there used to be no greenery, just a lot of concrete.
Back then, machines made noise here and heavy tractors made their historic entry into Germany's industrial development.
But everything has its time - and now this historic place is all about slowing down, peace and beautiful nature. We have completely renaturalized the old industrial site to create not only a green holiday oasis for our guests, but also a sustainable living environment for bees, bumblebees and other small creatures.
