Frequently Asked Questions
Is there parking space?
Parking is available directly in front of elsPARC Walkenried. Waldhaus Staufenbergblick has three separate private parking spaces.
How can we arrive by public transport?
Yes, it is possible to arrive by public transport. The nearest train station is Walkenried Station. The bus from the station stops directly in front of our accommodations. If needed/upon request, we are also happy to organize a shuttle from the station to the accommodations (for an additional charge).
Are utilities included in the prices?
Water, electricity, heating, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included in the price.
Are bed linen and towels provided on site?
Bed linen is included in our prices. Towels are available for a small additional charge. Alternatively, you may bring your own.
Are highchairs and cribs available for small children?
Yes, we are happy to provide a highchair free of charge if needed. There is a one-time charge of €15 for cribs.
Are nature hikes available directly from the accommodation?
Yes, you can start your hike directly at the site or take part in a guided hike - we are happy to help with planning.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, for a one-time fee (€45 per dog), one dog is currently allowed in two cabins (Cozy & Max). We allow a maximum of two dogs in the Waldhaus Staufenbergblick.
Are electric charging stations available?
We are currently unable to offer electric charging stations; however, we are already working on it. The nearest electric charging stations are in Walkendried and Bad Sachsa.
Where can I shop?
There are no supermarkets within walking distance, but you'll find REWE, EDEKA, NETTO, etc. within a 5-10-minute drive. And if you don't feel like shopping or cooking, simply order our Lazy Breakfast and/or Lazy Dinner Box!
Are there any opening discounts?
Yes, there is a soft opening discount for our cabins. For bookings for stays up to March 19, 2026, you will receive a 25% discount on the regular rate.
